Our process is one of rigorous curation. We scour the globe to find artisans capable of meeting our exacting standards, looking for the specific weight of solid brass, the hand-turned curve of ceramic and the intricate detailing of vintage-inspired glass.
Because we source pieces that are often finished by hand, no two items are perfectly identical. We reject the sterile perfection of the machine in favor of the soul of the craftsman. When an Aluma piece enters your collection, it has passed through a strict filter of quality, beauty and emotion.

We started Aluma with a simple obsession: to find objects that carry a sense of history and weight.
