Aluma 14-Day Returns Policy

 


At Aluma, we are committed to delivering beautifully crafted, high-quality home décor. If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return your item within 14 days from the date of delivery, subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.



 

1. Eligibility for Returns

 


1.1. Items must be returned in their original condition — unused, undamaged, and with all protective packaging, labels, and inserts intact.


1.2. Returns will not be accepted if the item shows signs of wear, use, scratches, marks, residue, or any form of alteration.


1.3. Items marked as “Final Sale”, “Custom”, or “Non-Returnable” are not eligible for return under any circumstances.


1.4. Online purchases cannot be returned or exchanged in person.


1.5. Returns must be initiated and posted within 14 days from the delivery date. Returns posted after this period will not be accepted or refunded.


1.6. For items that arrive damaged or faulty, please contact our Customer Service team within 48 hours of delivery. Include your order number and clear photographs of both the item and the outer packaging.


1.7. Items are considered faulty if they arrive damaged or develop a manufacturing defect within 30 days of purchase. Faults reported after this window will be treated as general wear and tear.


1.8. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.


1.9. Package Protection, if purchased at checkout, is non-refundable.



 

2. How to Initiate a Return

 


2.1. To begin a return, please follow these steps via our Returns Portal:

 

  • Visit the Returns Portal

  • Enter your order number (include the ‘#’) and the email address used at checkout

  • Select the item(s) you wish to return

  • Choose whether you’d like a Refund, Exchange, or Store Credit

  • Select your return method and receive a QR code or shipping label

  • Drop off your parcel at the nearest designated location

 


  Please ensure your return is posted within 14 days of the delivery date.



 

3. Return Shipping

 


3.1. Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the item is confirmed to be faulty or incorrect.


3.2. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.


3.3. If returning via your own courier, we recommend using a tracked and insured service. Aluma is not liable for returns lost or damaged in transit.


3.4. Returns received outside the 14-day window will not be accepted or refunded.



 

4. Inspection & Approval

 


4.1. All returned items are subject to quality inspection. Items must meet our return eligibility standards (see Section 1).


4.2. You will be notified by email once your return has been reviewed and approved or rejected.


4.3. If your return is approved, a £5.00 handling and restocking fee per item will be deducted from your refund amount.


4.4. If an item is returned not in resaleable condition, we reserve the right to deduct a portion of the refund to reflect any loss in value or reject the return entirely.



 

5. Refunds

 


5.1. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout.


5.2. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item or receiving proof of postage — whichever comes first. Please note, it may take additional time for your bank or payment provider to complete the transaction.



 

6. International Returns

 


6.1. We do not offer exchanges for international orders at this time.


6.2. Eligible international orders may be returned for a refund or store credit, following the same return terms as above. Return shipping remains the customer’s responsibility.
